Helen
We would like to take a moment to write a remembrance for our sweet girl, Helen.
She was Frontier Veterinary Clinic's most well-known mascot. Helen arrived at the clinic on November 12, 2009. She was found on the side of the road by one of our clients, but he could not keep her. So we adopted her, but if you asked Helen she adopted us. As many of you know, she was blind, but Helen did not know that. Anyone who came in contact with her immediately fell in love and was in awe of her ability to get around. Even the people who "didn't like cats" loved her before they left the clinic.
She was one of our resident greeters and took her job very seriously. She enjoyed sharing the office chairs with us, ice cream, and eating her canned food in the morning. If she didn't get it in a timely manner, she didn't hesitate to let us know. She always greeted us at the door in the morning and would tell us just how mad she was that we were not here at her "Beck and Call". Helen was such a joy for all of us. We had many people offer to take her home, but we always laughed and told them this was her forever home. She was truly loved until the very end and is missed everyday.
